Welcome to Kids Capers Childcare

Kids Capers Childcare - Where little feet meet!

Kids Capers Childcare first started in 2003 with a vision to provide quality childcare and early education, in a safe and supportive environment.

With a background in design and development all of our early learning education centres are purpose-built, allowing children to learn and grow through play, whether it’s a state of the art new structure or converting a heritage listed church, each Kids Capers Centre offers a unique and interesting learning environment.

We provide a play based learning program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), a National Early Years Curriculum that extends from the children’s interests. We create settings to invite experiences, interactions, risk-taking, discovery, connections to nature, conversations, play and collaboration.

Our Educators – Our team of educators are passionate and qualified teaching within the early childhood sector. Our Educators are responsive to both children and their families and their changing needs, interests and abilities.

Our Facilities – all of our centres offer our spacious, natural outdoor environments promote a healthy learning space where children can get in touch with nature, enjoy our gardens, outdoor play equipment, bike tracks as well as sensory experiences.

Meals and Nutrition – Kids Capers Bald Hills, Clayfield, Nambour, Northgate, North Lakes, Mango Hill, Scarborough and Samford provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea as well as a late afternoon snack, all included as part of your fees. All of our meals are prepared by our in-house cooks and meet the Australian Nutritional Guidelines.

Family Communication – each and everyday you will have access to stories from your child’s day, including a day book detailing their meals, sleeps and toilet visits. We use Educa as our parent platform and it’s a great way to see what your little one has been up to that day.

Hear from our families…

“Both my sons attended Kids Capers Clayfield since they were 12 months and loved it. The staff have always been easily approachable and helpful with any concerns, and promptly responding to any emails I may send.
My kids have especially enjoyed the animals they have at the centre and many activities and excursions they host. I especially love the inclusion of the First Nations artworks and culture in their curriculum.
Would highly recommend!”

“My two year old son has been going to Kids Capers Mango Hill for over a year now and we are really happy with the care they provide. The centre feels like a community rather than a business and my son loves feeding the chickens and playing in the spacious yard. His educators are always creating and engaging in fun activities with the kids and share photos of the day with the parents. All of the educators and administration staff are welcoming, friendly and genuinely care for your kids, giving parents a strong sense of comfort. Highly recommend Kids Capers!”

“I’m so happy we found Kids Capers Mango Hill. We moved and had to find a new daycare for my daughter. The whole process from touring, to enrolling and starting was easy and I love how every single educator is friendly, knows your child by name and is very welcoming. I love how the educators are excited to share how your child is developing and how their day was. My daughter is thriving and learning so much. I now have 2 Children here and they are both so excited to be going to daycare in the mornings which for a full time working mum puts my mind at ease. The centre is always clean, communication is great and the playgrounds/outdoor spaces with chickens etc are awesome. I highly recommend this centre.”

“We absolutely love kids capers! We feel like we are apart of a big family. Our son loves his daycare and I am so so glad we changed him to capers. He has created so many friendships and so have we with not only other parents but the educators. We recommend capers to our friends and family”
