Starting child care can be an exciting but anxious time for both you and your child. At Kids Capers Childcare we strive to ensure that the enrolment and orientation process is a positive experience for the whole family. Our friendly team of child care educators are there to support each family and make this time of transition as smooth and easy as possible.
Here are a few tips but if you require more information or have any queries feel free to come and visit our centres or phone your local Centre Manager and please take time to read out Parent Handbook
Before your child’s starting date, you will be required to complete an enrolment form.
A staff member will also show you through the entire centre and introduce you to all staff and will explain procedures.
We have an orientation process that allows you to spend time at the centre with your child prior to the actual starting date. This gives you and your child an opportunity to settle in and become familiar with the environment.
What to bring to the Centre:
Once your child has been accepted at the centre a $100 non-refundable fee is payable. $50 of this fee goes onto your account as a credit when you start. Your child also receives a Kids Capers Hat.
Fees are payable for every day your child is enrolled, including public holidays, sick days and absences due to family holidays.
Please refer your relevant centre for the current schedule of fees.
Families are responsible for contacting the Department of Human Services before commencing enrolment to lodge a claim for Child Care Benefit (CCB) or Child Care Rebate (CCR)
