Nominated Supervisor and Centre Manager
My name is Amanda Nitschke and I am honoured and privileged to be the Centre Manager
and Nominated Supervisor at Kids Capers Childcare Mango Hill.
I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services and I have 5 years of experience in the early childhood industry, starting off as a classroom educator in the nursery and proceeded to hold various roles including Lead Educator and Educational leader.
I joined the Capers family in 2016 and supported the opening of our Kids Capers Northgate centre. This provided me with the exposure to learn new skills and the opportunity to join the management team, initially as the Assistant Manager at our Clayfield centre and subsequently moving to our wonderful Mango Hill centre.
I am passionate about the Early Years Learning Framework and providing a play-based teaching program for children. I aim to give our team of Educators the teaching platforms they need to provide the best quality care and education, ensuring that every child in our care receive the best possible outcomes in relation to their identity, connection with community, wellbeing, confidence as learners and effectiveness as communicators.
Our team of committed Educators would love to show you around our beautiful centre so please feel free to give us a call or email us to book an appointment. I look forward to meeting your family at our amazing centre.
Assistant Centre Manager
My name is Farah Md Nor and I have been working here at our beautiful Kids Capers Childcare Mango Hill centre since 2012.
I started off as an Early Childhood Teacher in the kindergarten room whilst completing my Master of Early Childhood Education. I stepped into the Assistant Centre Manager’s role in 2016 and feel privileged that I am able to continue building relationships with our families in this lovely community, with many returning back to our centre with their subsequent offspring!
Over the years, I am proud to be involved with the growth of this centre, both physically and aesthetically, while we lay the foundation in the hearts and minds of our little ones. Meeting the needs of the children while supporting their growth and development has always been, and will continue to be, our top priority as we work in partnership with our families so that every child in our care feels safe, secure and supported.
Amanda and I look forward to welcoming you to our centre and be a part of our Mango Hill family.
Here at Kids Capers Mango Hill, we are a 117 place centre, providing care for children from 6 weeks to school age with 8 air conditioned rooms that open to spacious outdoor play spaces. Our unique outdoor teaching program includes chickens, guinea pigs, and a native bee hive. We have designed a natural teaching space on half an acre to give children the opportunity to learn outdoors.
We believe that all children should feel a sense of belonging to their environment and we encourage each child to be able to make decisions that influence the world around them. Each child's learning is specific to their Interests and needs, allowing for many wonderful learning opportunities to take place.
Our interactive educational software gives families the opportunity to stay connected with their children and Educators to be able to watch, learn and participate every step of the way in their child’s growth and development.
Our vision is to get back to nature and give children the opportunity to learn about sustainability, agriculture and horticulture. Teaching children the importance of our environment and embracing the beautiful nature, lakes and gardens that surround our centre in the Mango Hill community.
We look forward to meeting you and your family.
“We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the Gubbi Gubbi people.
Paramount to our philosophy is our emphasis on partnerships with families and the community. This ensures we develop respectful and reciprocal relationships to make sure each child, their family, stakeholders and Educators feel a sense of belonging. We actively promote inclusion and equity to ensure each child and their family has a place in our Centre’s community. Our curriculum incorporates learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their culture to reflect our respect for the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, play and learn.
Will be happy and engaged in warm, responsive interactions with the children to encourage them to experience a sense of being. We value the experience, knowledge and skills each educator brings to our team. With this, they will provide a fun, play-based curriculum in an environment that is safe, nurturing and engaging for children to explore and experience life’s wonders and develop a love of learning.
Will develop in their own time, creating their own identity. We will support this development and encourage children to grow toward becoming a confident and happy member of society who actively participates in their community. To work toward the best outcomes for the children and their families, we commit to continuous improvement of our high quality education and care.
