Centre Philosophy

“We would like to recognise the traditional landowners, the Gubbi Gubbi people, on whose land we play and learn each day”.

Our Children

Here at Kids Capers North Lakes, we recognise that children come first and learn best through play. We encourage every child’s desire to create, discover, and experiment using all of their senses. Encouraging and supporting all aspects of their learning and development through play.

“I love coming to Kids Capers to play with my friends” “We love the going on the big slide”.

Children’s voices are the foundation of our program, their priorities for play and friendship are heard and reflected in our programs and guide the way we care for and interact with them.

Our Families

We are committed to developing the best possible outcomes for all children, through our partnerships with families. Through our strong communication, we work together to encourage children’s social and emotional wellbeing as they learn and develop at their own pace. Our environments are always changing to support our children’s unique learning style, family cultures, behaviours, and interest.

“It means a lot to us how much care and attention educators spend nurturing the children at Kids Capers”.

Our Educators

Our educators value the high importance of the early years in preparing our children to become confident, resilient and persistent young learners, further sustaining lifelong success. Our primary caregiving model allows for us to build and maintain attachments with children, creating the feeling of a second home. In order to help children feel independent and a part of the Kids Capers Family, we work hard to present a fascinating and fulfilling learning opportunities.

We believe in forming and maintaining strong reciprocal relationships with our community so that we can learn from and enhance opportunities for growth. “It takes a village to raise a child…”
